Walker's capture and disgrace

On May 20, 1985, John Walker was caught by FBI agents at his hotel in Rockville, Md., as he tried to escape with the Soviets' drop directions. Looking for weapons or evidence, agents removed Walker's tennis shoes, belt and - in a final humiliation - his toupee, throwing it on the hallway carpet.
